Nikki L. Brown

Nikki L. Brown Art Advisory is a bespoke art advisory firm specializing in the unique desires of Modern & Contemporary Art collectors.  Our expertise focuses on assisting both private and institutional clients in the strategic creation, development and management of their collections.

Prior to forming her own advisory firm, Ms. Brown began her career at Marsh McLennan and subsequently served as an Executive Vice President at Aon Private Risk Management.

It was at Aon where she founded and thrived as Managing Director of Aon’s Global Fine Art Practice, a sector targeting the needs of important private, corporate, and institutional art collections.

Ms. Brown has over 20 years of experience working with discerning clients and an international network in both the primary and secondary art markets to build strong collections.

In addition to working with many of the world's top collectors, assisting in the sales and acquisitions of art and the management of risks associated with owning notable collections, Ms. Brown speaks regularly about the topic of collecting and risk management on panels across the globe.  She is also actively involved with art education and acquisition committees at non profit organizations.  Ms. Brown currently lives and works in New York, NY and Boca Raton, FL.

 

Education

Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Risk Management with a minor in Art History from the University of Georgia, as well as a Certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts from New York University.
